Diwali Special Sweet Shells / Gavvalu done with fork & without Sugar Syrup.
Ingredients :
- All Purpose Flour (Maida) – 2 Cups
- Cups Crystal Sugar – 1 ¼ Cups
- Cardamom (Elaichi) – 5
- Oil
Preparation:
- Blend 1 ¼ Cups Crystal sugar & Elachi (Cardamom) into fine powder.
- Mix Powdered Sugar and 2 Cups Maida.
- Heat 2 Spoons oil and mix with flour
- By adding water mix well like chapatti Dough
- Make small balls out of dough
- Now take 1 fork.
- Take 1 Small Ball, Press and Flatten on the fork
- Now slowly roll the Dough, till end.
- Roll all the small balls and keep it ready.
- Heat Oil and slowly put the shells into the pan and deep fry.
- Fry till shells become golden brown colour
- When it is done take out the shells from oil.
